IC ISA Clarity

About ISA Clarity

I built ISA Clarity because the UK ISA market has become a maze of misleading headline rates, hidden bonus cliffs, and terms and conditions designed to confuse rather than inform. I've spent years reading the small print most people never see. This site exists to share what's in there — clearly, honestly, and without telling anyone what to buy.

It's written by one person, in spare time, and updated as I learn. If something's wrong, tell me and I'll fix it.

What this site is

ISA Clarity is an education site about UK Individual Savings Accounts. It covers cash ISAs, stocks and shares ISAs, lifetime ISAs, junior ISAs, and innovative finance ISAs. It explains how the products actually work — the rate mechanics, the bonus structures, the withdrawal rules, the FSCS protection — so you can make your own decisions. Every article is written manually, fact-checked against the provider's own terms and conditions, and dated so you know how recent the analysis is.

What this site is not

ISA Clarity is not financial advice. It does not tell you what to buy, when to switch, or how much to save. It does not replace a regulated financial adviser. It is education — the same kind of thing you might read in a book or a personal finance magazine, written in good faith by someone who finds this stuff genuinely interesting and has spent a lot of time figuring it out.

How this site makes money

Some links to ISA providers are affiliate links — if you click through and open an account, ISA Clarity may receive a small commission. This never affects which products are covered or how they're rated; the editorial process is the same for products that pay commission as for those that don't. Several of the providers featured on this site (including NS&I and most building societies) do not run affiliate programmes at all, and they are covered honestly anyway. If you'd like to support the site directly, there will be a 'Buy me a coffee' link in due course.
